The Scarlet E

I was in North Carolina last week to judge a VST test and spend a few days working components with friends at a local hospital and on the sprawling grounds of Fort Bragg. A discussion started regarding the scarlet E that was imprinted on people’s foreheads throughout the country. The phenomena is spreading and appears to be contagious.

Yep, that scarlet E that signifies that the person studies and implements the writings in my books, has attended one of my workshops, participated in Camp Pawmark or god forbid, actually trains with me when I am in their area ...

During that test several track layers and spectators noted that there were also "closet" scarlet Es out there. It was apparent from their movements on the track ... a start routine, an article indication (that everyone could see), standing still and waiting for their dog to make a decision at a corner, gently handling the line as if they were in a "dance", and working as a team with their partner while showing the world that they were implementing Component TrainingTM and making it work!

So if you run across someone displaying a scarlet E, don’t hold it against them … you too can attend a workshop or spend a week at Camp Pawmark and get your own scarlet E!
