Hand braided latigo leather collar fitted with nickle plated chain martingale. For the discriminating trainer or owner who loves the warmth and stability of latigo leather and the control of a chain martingale. Available in a range of collar diameters in 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch widths in black or burgandy colors.

CAREFULLY MEASURE YOU DOG'S NECK. Determine the position you want the collar to fit on his/her neck. Round up to the next size collar. Example, if your dog's neck is 16 inches, round up and order a 18 inch collar. All collars are hand made and should be slightly larger than your dog's neck to allow the martingale chain to operate correctly.

A Primer For Beginning Trackers

Working with an experienced trainer is an ideal way to learn, but is not always a viable possiblity. The trainer’s availability, your time and theirs, location and costs often place constraints on a beginner’s resources. This, by no means, should stop you and your dog from learning the sport of tracking.

3/8" Nylon martingale chain collar. Your small dog will love the feel and comfort of this adjustable chain martingale collar. Our collars are contoured to fit the gentle curve of the dog's neck and are fully adjustable. Available in an assortment of colors. Available with or without a quick release connector.

This collar is excellent for training and daily use when a humane and limited correction is preferred.

When properly fitted, the limited length of expansion (the length of the chain itself), is the entire tension adjustment. A pull on the lead and the adjuster tightens like a normal choke or slip collar. This collar is also great for dogs that have a tendency to slip their collars. As tension is applied to the collar the circumference is reduced so it can not slip over the dog's head.
